**Site Engineer**

**Location**: Southeast London

**Duration**: 6 months plus

**Contract position**: Inside IR35 Via Umbrella Company PAYE (No CIS)

My client is looking for a Site Engineer to join their team on a major project based in the Southeast London area. The ideal Site Engineer will have a background in piling, reinforced concrete, ground works or concrete structures on major projects.

**Site Engineer Responsibilities**:

- Carry out relevant inspections and testing to ensure conformance of the works with the design and specification
- Ensure all work complies with quality, safety and environmental policies and the requirements of the company procedures
- Read and review construction drawings
- Capable of setting out to exact drawing specifications
- Ensure work is executed in a safe manner meeting legal guidelines set out in health safety and requirements and environmental compliance
- Safety / Quality / Programme and Production
- Manage site activities to ensure work is completed on time and within budget
- Review Method Statements and Risk Assessments and make improvements as appropriate.
- Deliver end product to customer satisfaction
- Implement appropriate policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Previously worked as Site Engineer or in a similar position
- Previous experience with Piling, Reinforced Concrete, Ground Works or Concrete Structures (must)
- Major infrastructure project experience (heavy civil project experience would be beneficial)
- Ability to carry out general construction site testing
- HNC/Degree (Construction/Civil Engineering related) or equivalent.
- Confident with engineering paperwork (RAMS)
- Hold a valid CSCS card
- Ensure compliance with designs
