**£500 PAYE Per Week**

**Autism / ASC, Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)**

**Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4pm**

I work with an excellent special needs school in the London Borough of Hounslow. I am looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to start long-term to permanent roles as early as possible

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to gain practical and clinical experience working with all age groups students, 1:1 and in group settings.

**Responsibilities of the SEN TA Teaching Assistant**
- Your role as a Teaching Assistant will be to support students with special educational needs; however, the role will vary from day to day; you will be expected to use your initiative and respond calmly in challenging situations
- For aspiring Teachers, Pastoral Workers, Child Psychologists, Educational Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, SALTs, Counsellors, and Social Workers, these positions will offer a relevant and vital experience for your chosen career path
- Continued Professional Development - This school has 5x more CPD than their surrounding schools
- A long-term contract with an opportunity to transition into a permanent contract
- To work in a highly reputable special needs school in North West London

**The Ideal SEN TA Teaching Assistant**
- Experienced supporting children with Autism ASD (verbal & non-verbal) and SLD
- Educated to degree level
- Passion for working with young people who require additional support in order to access education and social development
- Ideally, previous experience (formal or informal) supporting children with Autism or other special educational needs
- A proactive, positive individual who always strives to meet children's learning needs.
- Ability to build rapport with children
