Craft Baker

Flint Owl Bakery is a wholesale and retail organic craft bakery situated in **Glynde**, Nr Lewes in East Sussex.

We supply the area with our craft organic breads and viennoiserie. We also have our own shops/cafes in Lewes, Brighton and East Grinstead which are supplied by our bakery & kitchen. We also have our own market garden producing vegetables for our kitchen.

We are looking for a full time bread baker that has **experience working in a professional bakery** working mainly with breads but also viennoiserie. You will be passionate about working with long fermented sourdoughs.

You will have experience in mixing, hand shaping and oven work. Experience of laminating, cutting and hand shaping croissants. Knowledge of sourdough production would be ideal but not essential as we can teach that. Career progression possibilities.

5 shifts p/wk, mainly day shifts but some evenings.

We are situated in Glynde, 5mins from Lewes. You may need your own transport due to the village location although there is a train station, 5 mins walk from the bakery.
