Niche practice with office in the North London & Milton Keynes seeks a solicitor or paralegal with private immigration experience on a permanent basis for any of the above offices.

Our firm deals exclusively with immigration law. Offering a bespoke service, the firm has a good reputation for taking on complex instructions, assisting clients facing barriers to enter or remain in the UK. A fast-paced, challenging and exciting environment for a dedicated legal professional to further his or her career, they are now seeking a Private Immigration Fee Earner.

Reporting to the head of immigration, this is an excellent opportunity for a pro-active and ambitious fee earner to join a leading firm. Utilising your knowledge of private immigration matters, the successful solicitor or paralegal will have responsibility from the outset, managing an existing caseload whilst maintaining a personalised service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Private immigration matters
- Detention and deportation
- Applications for spouses and fiancés
- Appeals
- Participation in business development
- Qualified solicitors and paralegals with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Technically proficient in private immigration
- Previous experience of administrative and judicial review is advantageous
- Possesses outstanding communication and client care skills
- IT literate with particular expertise using case management systems
- Works well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Has an aptitude for business development

**Benefits**:

- Competitive salary dependent on experience £28,000 to £36,000
