**Office Attendance

- We’re looking for a **Head of Fraud** to join our Insurance and Money Services team. Responsible for the overall performance and leadership of the Fraud teams and robustly protecting Tesco customers against fraud. This role will involve the development and delivery of the counter-fraud strategy across TU, and specifically across both Claims and Underwriting, whilst providing assurance to ExCo and the Board relating to fraud systems, controls and performance.
- You’ll manage a significant operational area. You’ll be acting as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer for TU and will be responsible for internal fraud, working with HR and the control functions to implement controls to prevent and minimise the risk of internal fraud. **Please note this is a Certified role.
**What you’ll be doing:
- Managing the delivery of fraud/financial crime prevention and monitoring activities within a significant area of operations such as digital, anti-terrorism, or money laundering to minimize the risk of financial losses or reputational harm in line with the organisation's fraud management policies and procedures.
- Developing fraud prevention policies and procedures and guide the development of related systems to enable the organization to prevent fraud/financial crime, detect and investigate suspicious activity, and mitigate the risks of losses or reputational harm.
- Maintaining a positive, productive service environment which drives a customer-focused culture.
- Exploring and developing a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organisation.
- Ensuring that business activities within the area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and/or voluntary codes and with internal policies and procedures to minimize business risk and to protect the reputation of the organisation.
- Identifying and managing stakeholders up to management level, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these by leading and coordinating the development of stakeholder engagement plans to support the communication of business information and decisions.
- Communicating the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organisation's objectives; motivating people to commit to these goals.
- Working to improve employee engagement.
- Developing functional or operational policies.
- Developing and/or delivering budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.
