We have an exciting opportunity for an **Operations Supervisor - Nights** based in** Bournemouth,** working a **four-on four off** shift pattern, **17.00 to 05.00**. In this role you will proactively supervise the driving team and delivery of planned services, ensuring compliance at all times with group values and expectations, legislative and health & safety requirements, whilst ensuring a safe supportive positive working environment, and a service that not only meets but exceeds customer expectations.
**What you'll do...**
- Be the first point of contact for our National Express and Private Hire drivers, ensuring that the required services are correctly delivered and contractual Service Level Agreements are met
- Deal with breakdowns, late running, collisions and any other incidents affecting services and employees.
- In the event of service interruption take steps to ensure that customers are mínimally inconvenienced and are kept informed with developments, plans and timescales
- Escalate and log incidents to relevant parties all incidents, Alcolock fails and delays and disruptions
- Issue and receive all driver documentation including, ensuring that information and documentation contained is accurate and complete.
- Monitor daily walk round checks and audits, vehicle defect reporting, and validation of vehicle release from depot
- Maintain high company standards by ensuring that the company rules and procedures are adhered to by the driver team
- Liaise with the driver team and other departments to maintain awareness of operational challenges
- Monitor and report service delivery for all operations against agreed timetables and schedules.
- Utilise vehicle tracking and reporting functionality to provide reporting on agreed deliverables
- Log and securely store all lost property, respond to enquiries and ensure safe, documented return of claimed items.
- Understanding of allocations and covering short-term adjustments
**What you'll need...**
- Previous supervisory experience essential.
- Experience working in the passenger transport industry desirable
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment,
- Ability to work with a wide variety of IT systems to complete administration and organisational tasks
- Personal and communication skills with a pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Positive persona and the ability to work unsupervised.
