At Advanced Damp Ltd, we provide comprehensive damp proofing, maintenance, and treatment services across the UK. With a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, we are expanding and looking for an enthusiastic Trainee Building Surveyor to join our growing team.

**The Role**:
As a **Trainee Building Surveyor/Damp Surveyor**, you will:

- Work under the guidance of our experienced surveyors to learn the ins and outs of damp surveying.
- Conduct property inspections to diagnose damp, timber, and waterproofing issues.
- Use specialist equipment (including thermal imaging cameras) to assess moisture levels and determine solutions.
- Write detailed, professional reports outlining findings and recommended treatments.
- Communicate with customers to explain survey results and the next steps for damp-proofing services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building regulations.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- **Keen Interest in Construction/Property**: A passion for building surveying and learning about damp proofing.
- **Eagerness to Learn**: A self-starter attitude with a desire to develop skills and knowledge in damp surveying.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: The ability to explain complex technical details in a way that’s easy to understand for clients.
- **Full UK Driving License**: As the role requires traveling to various sites.
- **No Prior Experience Required**: This is a trainee role, and full training will be provided. However, any experience in construction, property, or a related field will be an advantage.
