**About Us**

At Chai Guys Bakehouse, we do things a little differently. We’re a cosy, much-loved bakery on Portobello Road known for blending baking styles from around the world; French, Japanese, Indian and beyond. Whether it’s our 'Samosant' (samosa croissant) or classic Pain Au Chocolat, our aim is simple: bold flavours, good vibes, and brilliant bakes.

We’re proud to be one of London’s most exciting spots for baked goods, and now we’re looking for someone to help lead the way in the kitchen.

**The Role**

We’re looking for a talented baker with plenty of experience in commercial kitchens who’s ready for their next big step. You might not have been a Head Baker before — and that’s absolutely fine. What matters to us is that you know your way around a professional kitchen, have a strong work ethic, love trying new flavour combinations, and are excited to take on more responsibility.

A positive attitude and team spirit are a must. This is a brilliant opportunity to grow into a leadership role and make your mark on a bakery with a strong following.

**What You’ll Do**
- Lead daily baking and ensure things run smoothly
- Help plan menus and one-off specials
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and well organised
- Support and train junior bakers
- Assist with stock control and ingredient orders

**About You**
- You’ve worked as a baker in a busy, professional kitchen
- You’re ready to take a step up and lead a small team
- You love coming up with new ideas and experimenting with flavours
- You’re reliable, well organised, and calm under pressure
- You enjoy working with others and bring good energy to the team
- You care about quality ingredients and sustainable baking
