Our practice is a hub of activity, hosting external services such as ultrasound and physiotherapy for both our patients and those referred from other practices. This ensures a varied and rewarding work environment that is always growing and adapting to meet the needs of the community.

**The Role**

As a Clinical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment.

This is a busy and sometimes stressful role that requires resilience and a positive mindset. You will encounter patients and family members who may be upset, frustrated, or in distress. Recognizing that these reactions stem from health concerns and responding with empathy and professionalism is essential.

You will also contribute to the smooth operation of our practice by:

- **Welcoming Patients**: Greeting all patients and visitors warmly and professionally.
- **Appointment Management**: Scheduling and managing appointments efficiently to ensure seamless patient flow.
- **Patient Support**: Addressing queries and concerns empathetically and professionally, whether face-to-face or via phone.
- **Administrative Tasks**: Maintaining accurate patient records, liaising with clinical staff, and ensuring confidentiality in line with NHS and Ashwell policies.
- **Problem-Solving**: Managing unexpected issues with professionalism and a patient-focused approach.

**Requirements**:

- Computer skills (Microsoft Office and NHS systems training will be provided).
- A passion for helping others and providing excellent patient care.
- A commitment to patient confidentiality and adherence to NHS policies.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (to be arranged).

**Hours**

The practice operates from 08:00 to 21:30 Monday to Friday and until 17:00 on Saturdays. Fixed shifts covering both mornings and afternoons are available.

**How to Apply**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £20,020.00-£28,844.54 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
