Gapp Group, operating as an employment business, are currently looking to recruit several **Production Operatives** for one our well-established client based in Manchester, Irlam, M44

Main duties are supporting with production of plastic canisters, building metal gates, manual work, using hand tools, operating machines, quality checking, product inspection, palletising.

**Shift Pattern: 39 hours per week**

**8hrs Mon - Thu from 8am - 4.30pm**

**7 hrs Friday 7.30am - 3pm**

Unpaid meal break of 30 minutes to be taken by prior arrangement with your manager and 20 minutes on a Friday.

**Key Responsibilities / Challenges**:

- Ensure the quality of all products is maintained to a high standard at all times according to customer requirement, through quality inspection of all manufactured parts and compliance with outlined procedures displayed at the workstations;
- Packaging of plastic products in accordance with written customer specifications;
- Accurate recording of production data on production sheets;
- Responsibility for work area housekeeping;
- Compliance with the established site Management System Policies and objectives implemented within Werit UK - including Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality & Product Safety, Health & Hygiene and PPE requirements.
- Experience of working in a fast-paced production environment; previous experience of working in a plastics manufacturing environment would be advantageous;
- Flexible and adaptable to meet production needs; team worker; the ability to follow verbal and written instructions (should have the ability to read instructions in English);
- Have the ability to get involved with basic technical aspects of production to ensure efficient running to meet production demand
- Aptitude for quality inspection and compliance

**Salary: £11.44**
