**The Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team**
The University is now planning a new campaign focused on the transformation of our iconic Senate House Library. Based in Senate House, it is one of the UK’s largest libraries for arts, humanities, and social scienceshome to 2 million books, 50 special collections, and 1800 archival collectionsand it serves students from across the federation.
Since the inception of the Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement team in 2015, we have built our engagement activities and systems and now have an established community of more than 200,000 contactable alumni, donors and prospects the majority of whom are outside of the UK.

**The Role**
We now seek a Philanthropy Operations Officer to play a vital role in delivering our transformational fundraising efforts, most notably, our bold and exciting Library Transformation Project.
You’ll be a key part of our Philanthropy Operations team, supporting a wide range of functions across the Office, including events, communications, fundraising, donor insights and reporting. In addition to business as usual requests, the Philanthropy Operations Officer will take a share of the Operations team projects, supporting the development of our systems and processes.

Preferential consideration will be given to the University redeployment pool.
The University currently operates a Hybrid Working framework involving a mix of working remotely and in the office. Typically, most employees will be able to agree to work remotely for up to 60% of their working week, role dependent, however will need to attend the office on specific days for training or team meetings etc.
