?????Alexander Steele Recruitment are delighted to be working with a large, multi site, food manufacturing company who supply globally. They are looking for Warehouse Operatives to join their expanding team.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor the role of the Warehouse Operative is to:

- Adhere to company health and safety standards in line with company policies and procedures.
- Operate and check all equipment as set out in the relevant operating procedures and safe systems of work.
- Assist in maintaining a tidy and well-organized workplace in support of hygiene requirements following clean as you go policies.
- Ensure the correct use of protective clothing and any other safety equipment.
- Liaises with production and planning to ensure the smooth supply of materials from the warehouse to production to meet planning requirements.
- Maintain and replenish stock levels in accordance with demand and maintain location stock accuracy.
- Assist in filing of any quality documentation generated as part of the day-to-day warehouse operations.
- Adheres to all company Quality policies and procedures.
- Responsible for the loading of finished product onto stand trailers, for customer collections and preparing despatch paperwork.
- Responsible for offloading raw material, checking it against the load list, booking in and putting away into the racking.
- Responsible for running the automatic palletisation and wrapping machine in accordance with business requirements.
- To report safety and / or quality issues in line with the company’s policies and procedures.
- Carry out any reasonable request as requested by any member of management within the reasonable scope of the role.
- PPTA2 Licence or Pivot steer Licence
- Able to lift bags of up to 25kg
- Experience of working within a team environment
- Good understanding of written and verbal communication
- Good awareness of Health & Safety
- Experience of using machines with PLC controls
- Communicates clearly and demonstrates teamwork
- Able to work on own initiative
- Positive and proactive approach
- Demonstrate respect and dignity towards everyone in the workplace
- Approachable and cooperative at all times
- Communicate with courtesy and listen with respect to the views of others

Working hours are on rotating shift pattern working Monday to Friday (Week 1 6:00am-14:00pm. Week 2 14:00pm-22:00pm)
