**Property Care Scotland** are a property maintenance company, based in central Scotland, providing a professional service to letting agents, landlords and private home owners. We offer a full a range of reactive, planned and preventative maintenance services including joinery, plumbing, property decoration, all aspects of flooring and general handyman services.

Due to high demand from our customers, we are currently looking for an experienced **Painter and Decorator**to join our team in **Edinburgh.** As we operate across central Scotland there will a requirement to work across the **Scottish Central Belt**

**Role**
- Undertaking multi trade repairs in occupied and unoccupied residential properties
- Working with clients to ensure they complete the work according to the requirements
- Measuring the work area to calculate the time and materials required to complete the project
- Preparing the surrounding area, including covering fixtures and furniture to prevent messes
- Preparing painting surfaces, including removing old paint, filling holes and cracks and washing walls
- Choosing the tools to complete the job
- Mixing and matching paints and colours to meet the texture and look required for the project
- Cleaning up painting tools and supplies, replacing fixtures and rearranging furniture after completing the project
- Collaborating with painters on other larger jobs
- Working with other construction professionals such as, carpenters, electricians and plumbers when necessary

**Requirements**:

- Fully qualified painter and decorator
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Provide own transport (fuel expenses will be provide)
- Paint and equipment will be provided

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Residential Property Maintenance: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)

Work authorisation:

- United Kingdom (required)
