**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to encourage upselling.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
- Keep track of inventory levels and assist in restocking as needed.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the store.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed promptly.
- A high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance is required at all times.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills with both customers and our team.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction.

Pay: From £25,396.80 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Clitheroe BB7 2BX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

- Retail sales: 3 years (preferred)
