EasyJet has announced plans to open a three-aircraft base at Newcastle Airport in March 2026, creating around 130 direct jobs for pilots, crew and engineers and supporting around 1200 jobs in total.

The base opening will enable easyJet to expand its network from Newcastle with new routes.

**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Park & Fly Operations Officer to join our Newcastle Park and Fly Team.
- Assist the Car Park Operations Manager in organising and managing all aspects of ‘on’ & ‘off airport’ car park operations.
- Lead and manage day to day operational activities ensuring resource is deployed efficiently and effectively in line with budget.
- Take ownership of ensuring that all car parking facilities and associated infra-structures are made available to customers in the correct configurations, adequately signed, safe, and fit for purpose.
- Support and promote a safety culture amongst staff and participate in the on-going development of the car park Safety Management System.
- Be responsible for ensuring that all staff (full time and seasonal) deployed to operational activity are fully trained prior to deployment and that full and accurate training records are in place.
- Ensure the effective use of procedures & equipment as a continuous process.
