**The Opportunity**

As a Business Consultant at EDF, you will provide a leading direction to the development and growth of CSPs analyst community. This includes defining agile approaches, tools, processes and practices within CSP; ensuring these are understood and rolled out successfully to upskill the community in using agile principles in their day-to-day roles.

**What you’ll be doing**

The Business Consultant supports all types of business change activity within EDF Business Solutions (EBS). The key purpose of the Business Consultant is to:
1. Identify and investigate optimal solutions to a prioritised backlog of business problems that impede the EBS Strategy - delivering both customer and business benefits
2. Lead investment cases and ensure delivery of change
3. Share the vision of Change and IT roadmaps and influence the company’s Senior Management team on the direction of business excellence and quality management, including approaches to organisational structure, functional activity, performance and governance

A key responsibility of the Business Consultant is to provide leadership; ensuring that the team have the right skills and knowledge and are motivated to operate as a high performing team.

**Who you are**

We’re looking for someone who can collaborate with our business teams to understand the opportunity and operating landscape including the proactive identification of strategic optimisation and enhancements to core systems and processes.

Proactive involvement in forums that strengthen broad business and industry knowledge will help you recommend solutions that deliver the intended business benefit for EBS. Building the case for change by providing a robust business case and engaging with stakeholders to influence the change pipeline.

An appreciation for the project lifecycle, change management and agile delivery techniques will put your in good stead to deliver effective change safely to our EBS colleagues. You will be a trusted individual operating in a high-pressured environment understanding the business domain and representing the business throughout delivery.

A passion for contributing to the growth of others will assist with leading and motivating a high-performing team.
