**JOB TITLE: Cleaning operative**

**LOCATION: Parkway Shopping Centre, Newbury**

**CONTRACT: Full time, 40 hours per week**

**Pay Rates: £10.90 per hour**

**Job Objective & Responsibilities**:
ABM is looking for hardworking and proactive cleaner to join our team in the Parkway Shopping Centre_._

**Main Duties**:
Your duties will involve general cleaning of a shopping areas and you will be working outside majority of time. You will be responsible to maintain clean and safe areas, and tasks involve brushing, litter picking and waste removal. You will also carry out general office and welfare area cleaning. You will be working without Supervision therefore must be proactive, with good attention to detail and reliable. Radios are used on site throughout the shift. Training and full uniform provided. You must have good time keeping, great communication skills and immaculate appearance. Whilst working in the centre you will be interacting with the Public and where appropriate recognise situations wherein it will be appropriate to offer assistance/add value i.e.: lost children, members of the public feeling unwell or distressed, evacuations etc. To carry out cleaning duties as directed by the co-ordinator and to work in a proactive manner supporting/assisting colleagues whenever in a position to do so and to undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- A proactive/can do attitude to work.
- The ability to work on own initiative and take full ownership of role.
