Paradise Park is Cornwall's award-winning wildlife sanctuary specialising in rare birds, especially parrots plus red pandas and farm animals. The JungleBarn is our indoor play centre, a big part of the fun of a day at the Park.

**JungleBarn Weekend Assistants**

We are seeking people to become part of the small team in the JungleBarn, reporting to the JungleBarn Supervisor.

The job includes being welcoming to visitors coming to play, making sure that everyone plays safely, and helping in the café. You will keep the play area and café clean and tidy, and in quieter times follow directions from the senior person in charge and rotas to do cleaning and maintenance. For birthday parties you will prepare rooms, serve food and clear up afterwards.

It is important that you work with the Supervisor and senior members of staff to make sure that the equipment is clean and safe. Be aware of the immediate priorities required (ie watching equipment, clearing tables or regular cleaning) while always being friendly and polite to visitors and colleagues.

You should have:
Responsible and friendly attitude

Good level of physical fitness

Good communication skills with visitors and staff

We are looking for help at weekends, either or both Saturday and Sunday. Usually 8 hours a day, you will work flexibly with other staff to cover the opening hours which are 10am to 5.30pm.

Holidays are 28 days a year (pro-rata) and, because of the nature of our business, bank holidays are treated as normal days.
