**Responsibilities of our HR Officer**
- Produce and analyse regular Management Information (MI) to support HR colleagues and the business to make informed decisions, control cost and enhance employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to automate HR processes to increase accuracy and efficiencies within the team, and improve customer experience.
- Always ensure that systems, policies and processes are up to date and legally compliant.
- Build and maintain relationships with key partners within the team and the wider business
- Resolving customer queries related to the systems and MI whilst delivering consistent service, ensuring an excellent experience for the customer.
- Provide effective advice and support to Managers in relation to conduct and capability, grievance matters, organisational change and employee relations matters across the organisation.
- Guide and support managers through employee relations cases in real time, intervening and steering in the appropriate direction taking account of governing policies, employment law, best practice and precedent. Issue disciplinary/grievance/ performance documentation as appropriate, attend and take notes at interviews as appropriate.
- Management of casework relating to sickness absence. This includes making recommendations, giving advice and support to managers, liaising with Occupational Health, case review meetings with employees and managers. Where appropriate manage referrals for Group Income Protection scheme.
- Provide an advisory service to employees ensuring that they are fully aware of their rights and entitlements, e.g. wages, SSP, expenses, paternity, personal issues and any day-to-day HR occurrences.

**What we’re looking for in our HR Officer;**
- Skilled in managing and manipulating large amounts of data in order to provide concise, summarised reports
- Experienced in the use of management reporting tools, specifically Power BI and Excel;
- Consistent track record of using strong analytical techniques and problem solving
- Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate recommendations in a confident and business-like manner
- Solid understanding of HR/Payroll processes and systems, ideally from HR/ Payroll Administration background
- Any experience of working on system implementations would be highly beneficial
