**Used Car Prep Controller**

Stephen James BMW is looking for an organised Used Car Prep Controller to join the team. This is a great opportunity to develop your career with one of the world’s most admired brands in the automotive industry.

**Your role**

As the Used Car Prep Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that all used vehicles that come through the Used Car Department are logged, prepared, and launched on the website and ready for sale in the Used Car display within three days of arrivalonsite.

**The main duties of the role include**:

- To process used BMW & MINI vehicle stock though preparation from arrival to display
- To manage transporter deliveries of new car stock
- unload, check and store incoming deliveries and maintain new car storage areas
- To maintain the Used car forecourts whilst ensuring we meet the retail display standards
- To liaise & coordinate work with AUC, SMART, Bodyshop & Valeting departments to ensure vehicles are prepped efficiently and in a timely manner
- To prepare vehicles for customers once sold, fuelled to agreed levels
- To complete weekly reports showing the status of vehicles not yet on display
- To send cars to auction with the correct paperwork

**Your profile**
- To have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- To have the ability to keep up to date with complex information with good analytical and problem-solving skills
- To be good with administration, diary management and following up within agreed timeframes
- To have a passion for customer service, have a process orientated approach and be professional and well presented
- To preferably, have experience in a similar role or as a Used Car Controller in the motor trade
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and have a valid clean UK Driving Licence for a minimum of 1Year

**Salary and Hours**

Basic salary £22,500 with an OTE of £28,500per annum
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm
