The company is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor for a project in Runcorn Building a new Industrial unit. As a site manager you will be responsible for looking after the teams on a construction site, as well as liaising with the clients. You couldalso be monitoring costs and budget, and ordering materials for the project.

**Key responsibilities and Duties include**:

- Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project.
- Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
- Measure and value the work done on site.
- Pay subcontractors.
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
- Select and/or source construction materials
- Write detailed reports as required.

**What you will need**:

- Civil engineering project experience.
- Industrial Unit Experience
- 5 years' experience as Quantity Surveyor.
- 2 - 3 A levels, or equivalent (undergraduate degree).
