The scope of this role has boundaries that can be pushed as you need to grow your CV and move your career forward. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will oversee and own the core HR practices and will be custodian of all things HR systems, data, process andpolicy. You'll work with the wider HR team in the UK and Switzerland initially but will expand your influence into other European markets as you build your reputation. You'll have line management responsibility of one but will interface regularly with localisedHR teams and wider business functions.
Having gone through a significant rebuild of the HR function, you can expect there to be plenty to keep you busy in this role for the future, but in your first year you can at least expect to build a centralised people data facility, conduct a top to bottomreview of HR document accessibility to staff and employees, overhaul HR reporting processes and metrics and modernise a number of processes. You will face challenges regarding data integrity and consistency so will lead on the data improvement project andwill likely take the initiative on a payroll processing/systems overhaul in the future.
Some of this might sound a tall order but you'll work with a team of specialists in recruitment, ER and HR projects and will be able, and expected, to draw on their expertise where relevant.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for a data, systems savvy HR specialist - you may have a background in a shared service environment and have led on projects, or you may come from a more generalist background but have led on, and have an interest in, data and systems HR work.You'll need to be comfortable working in a fully remote environment. Most of the HR team are Midlands/Home Counties based so likely to be somewhat local but typically meet once a month as a team.
