Gaming Supervisor

Company Description Due to an internal promotion, Grosvenor Casino Pier Nine Brighton is looking for it's next Gaming Supervisor, to join our team. We are accepting internal and external applicants for this Head Of Department role, which is a key role in the Casino's succession and development plan. Applicants must have prior experience of working in a Casino Gaming Team, as a Senior Dealer, Dealer/Inspector, Inspector or Casino Management. Rota is based upon 4x10hr or 5x8hr shifts, across 7 days and applicants should be available to work during our operational hours._** **Job Description**: As a Gaming Supervisor, you will be front and centre, leading the gaming team and ensuring our customers are having a great experience on the gaming tables. You will be the face of our business, greeting and looking after our gaming customers in a way that makes them feel welcomed and cared for. Your passion for people will be applied to the role to create a memorable and entertaining experience. The role holder will responsible for: - With the rest of the gaming team, ensure there is table availability by creating a entertaining enticement to play, whilst maximising table occupancy. - Adopting and implementing the agreed customer service standards of the Casino. - Engaging with customers, build relationships, listen to their views.Treating customers with respect, recognising the customers as individuals and anticipate their needs. - Resolving issues and disputes in a fair and equitable manner, by using all available information, reaching decisions that treat customers consistently and fairly. - Having an in-depth knowledge of customer activity on both slot machines and electronic roulette by regularly communicating with the Electronic Gaming Host. - Ensuring the maximum provision of Gaming Tables based on the number of allocated Team and assisting those customers requiring help to play the games in comfort and with confidence. - Adhering to Gaming compliance processes, by ensuring that operational standards and expectations are achieved and adhered to. - Creating an environment that promotes Safer Gambling, ensuring our customers are given relevant information and assistance, to play safely. - Promoting a culture of continual development and training throughout the gaming team. Maximising opportunities to enhance the skills of our Team. **Qualifications**: - Positive attitude - Experience of working successfully in a Gaming Supervisory / Inspection role - Committed to creating and leading a team of gaming employees who feel appreciated for their contribution. - Knowledge of and passion for casino gaming - Fanatical about delivering unrivaled customer experience - Ability to collaborate with the wider business - Sound communication skills - Comfortable with change and ability to embrace new ways of working - Computer literacy is a must. Applicants must have at least a Personal Functional License (PFL) issued by the UK Gambling Commission and be committed to achieving a Personal Management License (PML) in the future. Additional Information Applicants will be required to work 5 shifts across 7 days. Applicants will be required to be available for shifts midweek / weekends, with afternoons, evenings & nights as a priority.
