Tool Pre-setter

**As a Tool Pre-Setter, you will be responsible for**:

- Being aware of all safety hazards and follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Assisting in maintaining plant production by making new products and repairs within scope of expertise.
- Interpreting and following through on work orders following various safe work procedures.
- The logistics of tooling stock control
- Setting tooling for various machines by taking information from tool sheets & setting sheets, then using a pre-setter machine to record dimensions to be transferred to CNC machine tools.
- Preparing tools and equipment for the CNC Machines.
- Taking part in a continuous improvement cycle for your area.

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you need:

- Previous relevant experience required or machining background
- IT Literate
- Problem solving skills and experience
- Ability to read and interpret routine instructions and engineering drawings
- May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements
- Advanced office or technical skills, acquired through a combination of prior training and directly related experience
- Strong Communication skills
- Sound decision making and problem solving skills
