Are you an experience Healthcare Assistant / Care Support Worker looking for a new challenge?
Come and join our out of hours team in Sheppey Community Hospital

We are a seven day service working between the hours of 8pm-8am who pride ourselves in ensuring the best and highest quality of care to all patients.
You will be welcomed into the small team of other healthcare professionals who you will assist and support in providing care to people in their own homes or within a clinic setting.

Typically you will be working **three nights** out of seven receiving enhanced rates for the unsociable hours achieving a great work-life balance.

Main Responsibilities
Within this role as a healthcare assistant / care support worker you will:

- Assist in providing nursing care as delegated by the Senior Sister/Team Sister within patient’s homes.
- Deliver care in accordance with Organisation Policies, procedures and guidelines, according to competencies, as delegated by the Senior Sister/Team Sister
- Undertake the technical aspects of nursing care e.g. Dressings, glucose monitoring etc. following a period of training and when deemed competent to do so.
- Maintain knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to deliver a quality service that is responsive to the changing needs of patients.

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced healthcare worker to join our team. You must have a valid driving licence and access to a car to travel in the Swale community.
This is the perfect opportunity to put your **NVQ Level 2** to great use, providing the highest level of care to our patients at each stage of their healthcare journey.

You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
