**Trainee Nurturing Teaching Assistant - Welsh speaking**

**£350 per week/ £70 per day - 6.5 hours per day**

**The school
The school is based in the North Cardiff area and is easily accessible by public transport and has on-site parking. The team of staff within the schoolare extremely welcoming and friendly, which creates a great working environment, especially for a newteaching assistant joining the team. The school has newly had a large refurbishment, with a three brand new classrooms and innovative technology which you will be working with. The school is an extremely diverse school and has a very effective anti-bullyingpolicy.

**The role
You will be working within the year 2 class, alongside a young girl who struggles with her social skills due to a lack of confidence. You will mainly be focusing on developing her confidence and helping her to engage with the other children in the class.Numeracy and literacy will also be included in this role; however you will have thorough guidance from the class teacher at all times.The role will also be based within the classroom and at time outside, playing games and activities. You will also have thechance to go on school trips and take part in events organised by the school.

Most of all, you will be a friendly familiar face for the young girl

**About you:
- Have a passion for working with children
- **Fluent Welsh speaker** and confident in using the Welsh language with children
- Experience supporting children previously - This can be from a professional work setting or from personal experience, for example, your own children or children within the family.
- Have a positive, enthusiastic and patient personality
