Our client, a leading London university, is looking to recruit for a temporary Purchasing Officer to support the Finance team with all purchasing activity. This is a full time role, looking to start immediately and run for 3 months, on a hybrid working basis.

As their Purchasing Officer, you will be the primary point of contact for all purchasing queries, supporting the department with the management of purchasing accounts. You will collate and process order requisitions into purchase orders and monitor the department's accounts, ensuring sufficient funds are available. You will also be responsible for managing receipts, processing invoices and other general financial administration.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have experience of procurement and/or purchasing within Higher Education or a similar educational institution. With excellent IT skills and use of purchasing systems, you will also have strong customer service skills.

This position is being offered on a temporary basis, for 3 months in the first instance, and you must be available immediately in order to be considered.
