**The role - Anti-Social Behaviour Officer**

We have an interesting opportunity to join our Housing Team as an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer, covering Berkshire & North Hampshire

You'll be responsible for the delivery of a responsive and proactive service to our residents to tackle all forms of hate crime, neighbour nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

You'll be working alongside housing management colleagues in the effective management of caseloads and taking forward the highest priority cases.

You'll also make and maintain effective working relationships with external agencies, including the police and legal advisors.

**What you need**:

- Experience dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour, non-legal remedies and legal remedies
- Working closely with local authorities, police and other agencies to pursue appropriate legal action against residents who are perpetrators of hate crime, or consistently breaching tenancy conditions by causing nuisance or ASB
- Preparing cases and witness statements for county court hearings,
- Dealing with challenging behaviour and have a sound knowledge of civil and criminal legislation in order to be able to advise Housing Officers
- A demonstrable commitment to delivering good customer service.

You'll be required to travel extensively throughout the region so you must have access to a car and a full UK driver's license

You will also be required to take part in a full DBS check.
