We are thrilled that we are able to provide an exciting traineeship lasting one year. The traineeship will provide the opportunity to work within our Reserves Management team and gain a diverse range of practical training in conservation management, including calcareous grassland management, heathland management and conservation grazing, whilst obtaining many more transferable skills.

The role will involve mostly working outdoors, and no two days will be the same. The role is for 4 days a week and you will be offered the opportunity to develop your own interests and work with different teams, such as Grazing, Education, Communities and Nature Based Solutions.

The trainee scheme will provide the chance to lead groups of practical conservation volunteers and be part of a team that truly cares about the environment. You would get the opportunity to undertake a selection of funded external and internal training, such as First Aid, Brushcutter and Chainsaw courses.

You must have some previous experience of successfully working with volunteers and the ability to inspire others about nature conservation. You must also have an understanding of the skills required in countryside and habitat management. We are looking for passionate individuals who are seeking that first step into their career in conservation.

Please note, a driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential as our locations cannot all be easily accessed by public transport.

**Interviews will take place in person on Tuesday 29**th** July** and will include undertaking practical tasks as well as a formal interview.
