Trainee Quality Inspector

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Quality Assurance Inspector to join our busy and expanding quality team in Fordingbridge. Your primary responsibility will be to drive improvements in quality by ensuring products are delivered to spec with areas of non-conformance being identified.

The key responsibilities are to:

- maintain QA standards and procedures in accordance with the Company’s Quality Policy.
- ensure Goods In, First Offs, Inline and Final inspections are carried out.
- Keep the Production Supervisors aware of any production errors found.
- inform the Quality Manager of any major production errors found so they can take appropriate action.
- have the ability to work both in a team environment and individually.
- be self-motivated with the ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- have good hand-eye co-ordination and the ability to work with small components accurately.
- be willing to undertake any training relevant to the role.
- be logical and methodical in their approach with a high attention to detail.
- have good communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal with a good understanding of written English.
