Manufacturing Engineer

Burgess Hill, West Sussex

£25,000 - £34,000 DOE + Annual Bonus + Health Cash Plan + 25+8days Holidays + Up to 8% Employer Contribution + Generous Benefits package.

Monday to Friday Days Based Role.

Product & Process Support Engineer needed for a highly successful division of an international manufacturer producing specialist equipment for the Semiconductor and electronics industries. They are world renowned for their products and offer a great workingenvironment with generous benefits packages and salary.

This role will be suited to those with previous experience working as a manufacturing engineer and has experience within the semiconductor industry as well as those that come from car manufacturing, aerospace, and tooling back grounds. Those from a mechanicalor electrical design background will also be considered. Graduates also welcomed to apply.

The role in brief:
*Undertakes key projects under Global Manager and Engineering Support supervision
*To work within the Engineering team to ensure best practise & standardisation is communicated Globally & adhered to at all times.
*Support the creation of all new parts manuals, test specs & new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) and where required updating older documents or creating new versions for legacy products ensuring the document approval process is followed prior to release.
*To ensure that the global master tool list is up to date with accurate costs, delivery lead times & supplier information and to liaise with other tool procurement sites.
*Collaborate with external suppliers in order to create or modify specifications, engineering drawings covering tooling and complex systems, capability to discuss alternative solutions & to support equipment safety reviews.
- To support the Product Marketing and Engineering team in order to understand & provide a critical design review (Design for Service) and to develop engineering processes and solutions in order to stimulate business growth and to satisfy our customers' requirements.
*This is a office based role with no shopfloor work
The right person:
*University - technical degree or equivalent within an engineering discipline
*Proven experience in a manufacturing or mechanical engineering environment
*Ability to operate harmoniously as a member of a multi-disciplined team
*Solid knowledge of manufacturing engineering methods.
