**Position Summary**

Purdicom is seeking an experience well developed and creative Sales Manager to support and report on three separate sales teams within Purdicom.

This strategic and relatively autonomous role requires someone with knowledge and experience within sales gained in either an IT Distributor, a reseller / integrator, a vendor / manufacturer, or a Telecommunications company. Applicants will have the creativity,drive, enthusiasm and resourcefulness to build on the marketing and vendor brands currently delivered and to work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to develop a refreshed sales and marketing strategy and plan to broaden Purdicom’s market reach, andto deliver against it.

**The principal duties will be**:

- Assist Director of Sales and Marketing with the revenue growth of the Wireless, Connectivity and Security Teams
- Achieve and report on all KPIs involved in each team and report as requested
- Ensure that each member of the team fully understands and is able to achieve their KPIs
- Bring on new starters into the sales teams and help to get them up to speed with technical and sales training as they need.
- Work with HR to ensure that each member of the sales teams have a proper Personal Development Plan which will include internal, external and accredited manufacturers training
- Drive to ongoing updates in our CRM to ensure accuracy and data is collected to help identify new sales opportunities
- Play a part in the broader activity of Purdicom as it continues to expand and develop new markets.
- Able to confidently communicate with vendors and manage effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proactive, professional and ambitious with a desire to progress
- Motivated, driven and willing to contribute to campaigns with new ideas in a collaborative environment

**We are looking for a resourceful individual with the following skills, experience and qualities**:

- A proven sales professional with 6+ years’ experience; a bias towards knowledge of wireless, networking, cloud and security markets is desirable
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and good people management skills
- Skills on reporting numbers via CRM systems and also spreadsheets of sales and KPIs
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- The ability to train and to decipher technical solutions, jargon and then convey them simply to the sales teams.
- An ability to motivate a sales team and a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up approach to implementation
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, and further our vendor partnerships
- Full knowledge of Purdicom or a similar size organisation its systems and general personnel
- Full understanding of CRM systems from a sales perspective with Netsuite being a bonus

**Working Conditions**

Must have a clean driving license and own car due to rural location. Expectation will be to work in the office 4 times a week.
