**Systems Integration & Test Engineer**

**Location: Havant / Home based**

**Base Salary: Up to £50,000 - 4 day working week**

Working with a global defence leader, we are currently recruiting for a Systems Integration & Test Engineer where you will work within the project Engineering Team, and could be working on one of many exciting programmes across the business, including land/airbased training systems and Maritime Security, developing solutions for our customers in the defence and civil markets. Reporting to the Integration and Test Manager and under general direction of the I&T Lead, working closely with internal and external stakeholderson all aspects of system level integration and test activities throughout the integration and test life cycle.

**Systems Integration & Test Engineer responsibilities**:

- Translate system requirements into appropriate Test specifications
- Ensuring that Test activities are carried out in accordance with programme & internal standards
- Investigation and analysis of complex system level faults
- Collaborating with test leadership to design and use appropriate progress metrics
- Manage your time effectively to develop effective Test solutions to deliver to cost and quality targets
- Any additional Programme related tasks assigned that are within area of expertise, competence and skill set.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients across all levels of the organisation both internally and with the customer

**Systems Integration & Test Engineer skills and qualifications**
- Solid understanding of the test process life cycle and toolsets (e.g. DOORS, Jira and automated test tools e.g. Selenium or similar)
- Strong communication skills, and the ability to write in a clear and concise manner to deliver documents such test plans, test procedures
- Positive attitude, and willingness to get involved with tasks across the Test Engineering lifecycle
- The ability to manage tasks and priorities to ensure that assigned workload is delivered when required.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with teams providing support to Test Engineering.
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of audiences on sometimes complex concepts

**The following are highly desirable, but not essential**
- Exposure to synthetic training and simulation systems
- Exposure to Model Based Testing concepts and tools (SysML, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect)
- Experience of working within MoD programme frameworks
- ISTQB Accreditation
