Trainee Mechanic

Today we offer a wide range of services to domestic, commercial and fleet customers such as; Tyres, Vehicle Servicing, MOT Testing and Bodywork repairs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Mechanic to carry out the following:
**Responsibilities and duties**:
**To help and assist with the following**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper functioning
- Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems
- Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines
- Keep work place clean and tidy

Training Courses Available (e.g Air conditioning FGAS - Hybrid/Electric Vehicles, MOT)

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Saturday working hours - 8:30am - 12:30pm

20 days annual leave + statutory Bank Holidays

**Skills**:

- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills

Pay: £17,160.00-£27,500.00 per year
