**Test Technician / Engineer**

**Salary: Up to £28,000**

**Location: Leamington Spa**

Our client are a large, well-established manufacturing company that specialises in the production and delivery of cooking appliances, interior furnishings, and accessories. They are now looking to expand their team with a Test Technician / Engineer.

As the Test Technician / Engineer you will be a supporting member of the product development team. You will be tasked with carrying out product compliance testing in line with worldwide standards and working to a testing plan to ensure their products aresafe and compliant.

**Role of the Test Technician / Engineer**:

- Carrying out product compliance testing, working to worldwide standards and testing plans,
- Setting up and monitoring tests and preparing models for submission to the appropriate authority,
- Working closely with and supporting the Product Development Engineers with the test plan,
- Compiling test reports in line with the project,
- Benchmarking existing products against that of competitors.

**The ideal Test Technician / Engineer**:

- Will hold a qualification within an Engineering discipline
- Have experience working as a Test Technician / Engineer or similar, ideally within manufacturing or domestic appliances,
- Have an understanding of electrical and or gas systems,
- Capable of testing a broad range of gas, electrical or combined fuel domestic appliances,
- Capable of setting up and monitoring tests, and preparing models for submission,
