This is a fantastic opportunity to join our hardworking team at Lincoln House residential care home in Swanton Morley Dereham, our team really do care about our residents and are dedicated and warm-hearted. Previous experience isn’t necessary as full training is given, but a caring, compassionate and warm approach is essential. Everything we do is from the heart, caring is our passion, we always have fun and, nothing is too much.
**The Role**:
Are you an out-going, creative person who loves engaging with others?
As an Activities Co-ordinator you will be creating an activities plan of events for groups and individual residents to stimulate their physical, mental, social and emotional wellbeing. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with resident's families so they can be part of the activities where possible. **Key duties**:
- To utilise all the relevant information collected on all residents and produce meaningful individual and group activity plans with appropriate activities.
- Motivate residents with a positive and friendly attitude.
- To work with all Heads of Department to provide a cohesive activity provision throughout the home.
- Create plans for residents to take part in normal daily tasks such as dusting, folding linen and light cleaning where appropriate.
- To assist in producing a comprehensive activities planner for residents to choose from, to include special diary dates and events

Lincoln House is located in Swanton Morley Dereham and specialises in providing quality care and support to our residents in this 100 bed care home. Our assisted living facility is set in a beautiful location, nestled in landscaped gardens with a peaceful courtyard, with farmland views overlooking the Norfolk countryside.
