Senior Dba

We are looking to recruit a Senior Oracle DBA working for a reputable client within the Public Sector on a 6 months contract The location is **Newcastle** (1 day per week and may be increased to 2).
**Security Clearance: SC Clearance**:

- Expertise in Oracle database management, performance tuning and optimization
- Expertise in provisioning Oracle databases on Linux platforms including database upgrade, regular patching and maintenance
- Expertise in the following Oracle technology stack:

- Database 12c and 19c
- Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Grid Infrastructure 12c and 19c
- Data Guard in ASYNC and SYNC modes
- GoldenGate replication
- Excellent Linux and shell scripting skills
- Excellent understanding of Agile deliveries, collaborative tooling and techniques including Jira and Kanban
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, continuous delivery tooling and automation using Ansible, TerraForm and Git
- Good understanding of designing and implementing databases in Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure using IaaS or PaaS
- Oracle Certified Professional
