This role interprets data and makes recommendations, also researches and interprets factual information. Furthermore, this position identifies inconsistencies in data or results, and integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. You will develop a good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area and develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. This role also gives limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided and the impact of the job holder is restricted to own team. **Responsibilities** Core responsibilities of this role will include assisting in the management of region-wide Litigation processes, which will involve working closely with litigation team and other regional legal team members, support and control functions. - Performs legal support related to legal operations, technology, budget/expenses, risk/controls, litigation/e-discovery or administration. - Performs varied work requests from legal or other support or control functions that may be complex in character and have tight deadlines - Liaises with other control and functional business in support of projects and initiatives - Maintain a region-wide litigation management database (Law Manager/Passport) and other litigation management trackers, carrying out qualitative checks, as appropriate. - Assist with legal reserves and settlement payments process. - Assist with tracking and monitoring of litigation expenses and budgets - Assist with preparation of various litigation reports/disclosures - Works closely with the team’s manager to complete tasks assigned**Development Value** Opportunity to work in a dynamic environment as part of a highly professional team and to gain significant exposure to the mechanics of international litigation and contentious regulatory work in a major financial institution. **Qualifications** - Experience working in corporate legal department, law firm, financial services, consulting, technology firm or related industry - Must have effective organizational skills, strong attention to detail, exceptional verbal communication and listening skills - Project management skills desirable - **Education** - Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience **Skills** - Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel) - Critical thinker: ability to interrogate data, challenge assumptions and establish facts. - Commitment to collaborative working - Unqualified commitment to maintaining confidentiality - Enthusiastic self-starter **What we Offer** As well as a competitive salary and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonus Citi offer; - 23 days paid annual leave - Award winning pension scheme, - Life assurance and - Private medical insurance with Bupa healthcare.
