Camhs Single Point of Access

In this role as a Single Point of Access (SPA) Referrals Assistant, you will be required to support the receipt of all service referrals both electronically and via telephone, in addition to the processing of these referrals through a number of complex patient care pathways. You will work closely with clinical and senior management team to ensure that the service provided, is patient focused and responsive. **The post holder will be required to**: - To provide efficient, effective, and high standards of service that meets the needs of the mental health CAMHS single point of - To effectively manage referrals and communications requiring triage and further intervention. - In conjunction with both the existing Community CAMHS (First Steps and CAMHS Disability) services develop a customer service focus within the CAMHS SPA promoting engagement and facilitating the promotion and easy use of SPA by all referring agencies and stakeholders (e.g., GPs, schools, families, and any other children’s services). - Work in partnership with clients and colleagues, maintaining respect for differing opinions and discussing all appropriate options for ways of working together Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is a high performing and flourishing organisation serving the population of Hackney, East London, The City and beyond. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that the services they support are experienced by patients, service users, the public, and colleagues; as caring, patient focused efficient and effective through developing, coordinating and overseeing the provision of first class, administration support. This is achieved by ensuring that our administration systems work to fully support the patient or service user journey and by providing admin support to managers and clinicians. Making people feel welcome and providing information on the location/services, directing people to the right place, giving them the help and guidance, they need - Provides administration support of systems on behalf of senior clinical staff by overseeing, inputting, and processing data entry on systems - Where appropriate, to provide secretarial support to designated operational lead/senior clinicians including preparing meeting agendas, taking formal minutes at meetings, diary managemen - Contribute to the positive way in which our patients
