We’re looking for a Second Line IT Engineer who can grow alongside our company and is committed to developing their IT and problem-solving skills. You’ll work as a part of both our Service Desk team and oversee it, providing both remote support and physicalrepairs to a range of customers. Flexibility and a desire to expand your skills in all areas of IT are a must.

Anglia Computer Solutions Business Ltd is a managed service provider that supplies local businesses (both SME & Corporate) with a range of IT support and services whilst also providing, repairing, and supporting hardware for home users.

**Your primary responsibilities and duties will include**:

- Answering incoming help desk customer calls.
- Resolving desktop support issues with clients.
- Receiving, responding, and following up with service requests and tickets.
- The installation, configuration, and upgrade of operating systems and software.
- The installation and configurations of computers, network infrastructures and peripherals.
- Overseeing our ticket system, ensuring tickets are being responded to and updated within our SLAs

**Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience**:

- Experience working in help desk ticketing platforms/systems, ability to type and document notes in real-time while engaged with the customer on the phone.
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting and assessment skills.
- Microsoft Office 365 (Exchange Online, One Drive SharePoint etc.)
- Active Directory
- Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware & Anti-Spam Solutions
- Altaro & Replication or other backup technologies
- Hardware Maintenance (Servers, Laptops or Desktops)
- Patch Management Solutions
- Ability to maintain servers in the following environments: Physical and virtualisation platforms (including Hyper-V and Azure)
- Networking and advanced Routing creating, configuring & management of VPNs
