Compliance Operations Supervisor

Due to growth across the compliance operations department, we are now looking for a Safer Gambling Supervisor to lead our Safer Gambling team.
**About the role**:
The Safer Gambling Supervisor will take responsibility for the operational output and supervision of the Safer Gambling function within the Operational Compliance Department. You will ensure consistent delivery of Safer Gambling processes within an operationalenvironment, ensuring KPI targets are achieved.
Reporting into the Safer Gambling Manager you will support in the escalation of Safer Gambling assessments and will be responsible for providing assurance on the adherence of processes to protect customers and the business. You will work as a mentor to coachand grow the skills and capability of the Safer Gambling team and direct reports.

We are a team of over 170 people with our HQ based in Wigan, Greater Manchester (WN3 5AZ). The role will be 37.5 hours per week and include a varied shift pattern with some weekend work and working hours between 8am and 6pm. We offer flexible hybrid workingand a full induction and training plan will be provided to anyone who joins the team.
**What you’ll be doing**:
- Day to day supervision of the Safer Gambling team with a focus on directing and maintaining a high performing team within a regulated environment
- Support the Safer Gambling Manager in the optimisation of the Safer Gambling processes ensuring that the right resource is available to meet the agreed KPI’s
- Conduct regular reviews and report on team performance against agreed SLAs
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the current regulatory and compliance requirements with regards to the Gambling Licensing appropriate to the jurisdictions within which the UK Tote Group operates
**What you’ll need**:
- Proven experience of people management ideally within an operational environment
- Strong communication skills which can be implemented through all mediums to a varying level of stakeholders
- Confidence in decision making and recommendations with the ability to present to senior management team
- Experience of providing detailed analysis and producing metrics/reporting to support compliance and business objectives
- Experience working in a regulated environment and a good of dealing with AML, Gambling Licensing, Data security compliance and regulation is desirable
