**Job Summary**

The role plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public and staff within the venue or arena. This position involves overseeing entry points, monitoring activities, and ensuring compliance with licensing laws and regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for managing crowd control, preventing loss, and responding to emergencies as required.

**Duties**
- Monitor the entrance and exit points of the venue/arena to ensure safety and security.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to identify potential risks or disturbances.
- To work well within teams, at both small and large scale events.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid readiness.
- Manage crowd control during busy periods, ensuring a smooth flow of patrons.
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and actions taken during shifts.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with staff and patrons.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing difficult situations.
- Strong observational skills to identify potential issues before they escalate.
