Commercial Business Partner As a Commercial Business Partner you will be the "face" of Technology and Security into defined technology/business units (including but not limited to Procurement, Finance, Service and Change). You will successfully establish and maintain strategic & operational alignment, ensuring that the IT Estate effectively delivers both current and future business needs. You will lead engagement across the whole of IT, acting as a single point of contact for senior stakeholders, facilitating relationships between them. You will negotiate to ensure that stakeholders understand and agree what will meet their needs, that appropriate agreements are defined and the financial implications/options are understood. About You: - You will understand the key drivers and capabilities of IT Operations, Delivery, Service and Security as well as your internal/external customers, working with your colleagues to ensure the needs of both are understood and represented. You will strive to facilitate the delivery of these common goals in line with set budgets and strategy. - You will create an environment in which both TalkTalk and its suppliers collaborate to their mutual benefit, ensuring positive and effective working relationships are developed and maintained across the supply chain. About the Role: - You will be responsible for negotiating and resolving contractual issues, including failure to meet contractual obligations, promoting change control processes and leading variation negotiations when necessary. You will champion continuous improvement programmes, jointly developing strategies and incentives to enhance performance and undertake comprehensive financial evaluations. - You will be accountable for a range of technology supplier contracts that are intrinsic to the ability of IT Operations, Delivery, Service and Security to deliver service. - You will take full ownership and manage total spend, cost optimisation and contractual performance for those suppliers and where needed, initiate and support exit strategies and transition plans. - You will develop financial planning processes and standards to support execution of business strategy within your defined areas and promote adoption and adherence. - You will analyse actual expenditure, explain variances and determine options in use of available budget to meet real needs, always assessing financial performance and remaining fully abreast of all risk and opportunities.
