Peregrine Ltd was founded as a logistics solutions provider to small businesses. Peregrine now works with Amazon Logistics as a Delivery Service Partner delivering smiles to its customers across the Cheshire West and Merseyside areas.
We have exciting opportunities for hard-working, self-employed delivery drivers and can offer an almost immediate start for full time or part time hours. **(Minimum requirement of 4 days per week.)**
Peregrine Ltd openly welcomes drivers from Evri, Amazon, DHL, DPD, Parcelforce FEDEx, Royal Mail and UPS.
**What Are The Benefits?**
- Earn up to £1024.80 per week / Basic Pay is £121.50 per shift (+ VAT, if registered)
- PLUS Weekly Bonuses** (up to £20-£30 a day bonus) - We have hit this 48/52 previous weeks so Is very regular
- 26 days fully paid training and free continuous training provided
- Pre sequenced routes with indoor loading
- Weekly Pay (paid 2 weeks in arrears)
- Free Insurance, Free Fuel (Card Provided) and Uniform
- On site parking at no cost
- Use of a customised Ford Transit or Mercedes Sprinter van for parcel delivery only (van stays at depot overnight). A small cost of £5 per day to use the van.
- Ability to be flexible and set your working days according to your schedule (we have an app for this)
**What Kind Of Driver Are We Looking For?**
- Held a valid driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points on your driving license (No DR, DG, IN, MS or TT related endorsements)
- Self-employed status
- Minimum 19 years of age for insurance purposes
- Have a smartphone, battery pack and voice/data plan for use of the Amazon Flex app.
- Generally fit and healthy - the role is of a physical nature
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Can speak basic English
- Eye for detail
**What Does The Job Involve?**
- Safe & responsible driving
- Loading parcels on to the van
- No sortation - all routes are pre sequenced and pre-mapped. All you need to do is collect your parcels and you are ready to go
- Maximum parcel weight of 25kg
- Approx 9hr shifts.
- Ablility to do approximately 21 drops per hour or more than 170 stops per day and is able to get in and out of the van numerous times throughout the day.
- Start times approx 10:30am, but may shift slightly due to volume changes.
- Parcel delivery around Warrington/Cheshire West/Merseyside areas on pre-planned routes.
