The desired individual must be self-motivated, client facing and have experience of working with sector specialists design teams, supply chain and main contractors. A good knowledge of JCT would also be beneficial as well as some previous experience with workingon listed buildings.
My client is looking also looking for someone who is;
- Professionally qualified (Although not essential for this position)
- Degree level qualification
- Ability to successfully manage and prioritise more than one project at a time.
Key Responsibilities
- Tendering and procuring at the pre-qualification stage
- Assisting on feasibility studies and writing reports
- Estimating and cost planning
- Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on projects
- Producing monthly post contract cost reports
- Interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
- Delivery of high quality cost management/quantity surveying services across the full project lifecycle
