We provide a range of testing, inspection and consultancy services for our customers. We are a member of the British Institute of NDT, have a UKAS accredited laboratory and we are proud of the extensive experience our NDT Engineers offer.

**What will I be doing?**

In its simplest and most explicit form, industrial safety can be a matter of life or death. As an NDT Coordinator for British Engineering Services, you will be responsible for working to international specifications within our UKAS schedule at our customer site. You will oversee the delivery of all NDT inspections & co-ordinate all In Service inspections, acting as the key conduit between such Inspection providers and our customer’s Compliance Team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Taking a forward look at all up coming statutory inspections, formulating a 12 monthly plan
- Planning NDT inspections dates as per WSE inspections
- Ensuring that all prior preparation is completed with on site sub
- contractors
- To plan access requirements, including scaffolding, MEWPS, etc
- Liaising with our customers to ensure all permits required for the inspections can be issued
- Issuing all JMS / safety cases, planning any specific safety training / equipment for high risk areas
- Highlight any issues arising from inspections to the customer and control the resultant outcome
- Plan repairs with BES Inspector and NDT Engineer to ensure efficient sign off, returning equipment back into service

**What experience do I need?**

Our team consists of the best, highly skilled and qualified NDT Coordinators and we want our new recruits to have the same attitude, aptitude and appetite for what we do.

You will need:

- Knowledge of inspection process and NDT processes
- Minimum qualification of HNC in engineering or similar
- Good communication and report writing skills
- Good attention to detail to make sure quality records, checklists and spreadsheets are correct and detailed
- Effective interpersonal skills in order to promote technical and performance development
- Experience working in large site environment
- Ability to carry out inspections in an efficient manner
