**Job Title -**Account Manager

**Salary -**£25,000-£30,000 per annum

**Location -**Newmarket

**Type -**Permanent, full time (Mon-Fri)

Russell Taylor Group have a fantastic opportunity for an individual to join a major testing company within their environmental testing department. Our client is looking for an individual with a customer service/sales background and chemistry related degree/chemicallab experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Delivering forecasted growth of sales within your allocated accounts
- Support onboarding of new accounts
- Retain and grow allocated accounts
- Identify new opportunities for growth within allocated accounts
- Update and maintain all communication within CRM
- Document key relationships and account strategy plans using CRM
- Manage an own all service concerns or queries
- Maintain knowledge base of competitors activities within CRM
- Follow up on quotations within territory with clear feedback on quote conversion rates
- Provide monthly reports and updates on territory performance against target
- Attend networking/marketing events
- Adhere to KPIs set by business
- Be a support function working closely with the businesses operational, service and support teams, providing cross-sectional performance information to assure high levels of customer service
- Actively promote the business

**The person**:

- 2 years' experience of working in sales, account management or customer service interface
- Industry knowledge (Science degree or background in scientific sales)
- Experience of working to high target environment
- Track record of high levels of account retention and development
- Experience in CRM
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
