Bookkeeper

Our client, an expanding bookkeeping company based in Shaftesbury, Dorset, are seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team.
You will be responsible for the daily bookkeeping and management of clients, ensuring their financial needs are met and any queries are resolved.
Duties include:
- Bookkeeping; accurately record financial transactions and making sure entries are up to date
- Bank reconciliations, regularly matching and comparing account balances and rectifying any discrepancies
- VAT & CIS returns
- Payroll administration, processing monthly payroll and staying updated with any changes and regulations
- Credit control
- Other ad-hoc duties as and when required
You will ideally have at least 2 years bookkeeping experience, within practice or a professional environment, with a strong understanding of CIS regulations.
A knowledge of accounting software such as Xero and Microsoft Excel would also be an advantage.

**Salary**: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
