**Job Overview**:
HR are at the heart of the business at EPC Newbury. We have a team of 11 across two sites (Newbury and Newport) with 8 being based in Newbury. We are invested in adding value to the organisation by understanding and supporting the operations.
The role of HR Advisor reports into the Head of People and will be at the center of the organisation, ensuring that policies and procedures are followed and embedded within the business. we work on a business partnering model, whereby you will be assigned an area of the business to work with, build relationships and hit key KPIs around retention, absence and employee relations.
The role is a true generalist role and will provide any keen HR professional a great opportunity to develop, learn and add value to the overall business. The role covers recruitment, on-boarding, retention and ER management alongside projects focusing on engagement, benefits and more.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Point of call for HR Queries (walk-ins)
- Lead HR business partner for an area of the business
- Advise on ER procedures
- Support managers by providing advice and guidance on all employee matters
- Assist and support with regards to training
- Ensure appropriate induction via the operational trainers to salaried staff members
- Note take during ER meetings
- Complete administration side of ER - invite letters/ outcome
- To attend meetings as required
- Portray a positive image of the company and its values in a professional manner at all times.
- Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with the role in order to meet the needs of the business.
- Adhere to all company rules and procedures, paying particular attention to health and safety.
**Essential**:
- Previous experience working in an HR role
- CIPD Level 3 or 5 is desirable but not essential
- Demonstrates drive and attention to detail in all aspects of work

**Work Schedule**:
Monday - Friday, 09.00-5.00
**Salary**: up to £26,000 per year
