This job aims to collaborate with team members in managing the day-to-day care, administration, and organization of a Children's Home, and to be responsible for the Care Plans of several children and young people. The role involves working with children, young people, carers, families, and other agencies to meet the needs of the children in the home, while adhering to statutory regulations and good practice. This includes promoting education, exercising appropriate behavior management, working within the home's behavior management policy, and maintaining good records and reports.
Other responsibilities include promoting and maintaining good domestic and material standards in the home, ensuring the rights and needs of children and young people are met, maintaining strong connections with various agencies, attending staff meetings and supervision sessions, and undertaking other duties as directed by the Registered Manager.
